HTA History and Vision Telecommunications technology grows more complex and sophisticated each year. Businesses of all sizes have become dependant upon telecommunications to enable them to compete in today's marketplace. While the promise of telecommunications is unlimited, the reality is that few businesses truly realize the value relative to the cost.
Partners Michael D. Haigh and Barry J. Todd incorporated HTA in January 1990 following successful careers working on the supply side of information technology and telecommunications. HTA has maintained consistent growth in terms of services, employees and profitability since inception.
Their work on the vendor side of the technology industry made them aware that the providers of voice technology systems and services were unable to truly deliver on the promise of technology. The vision of the founders was to create a vendor independent telemanagement company to assist organizations of all sizes in securing and maximizing voice technology solutions based upon clearly defined business drivers.
To accomplish that vision HTA has developed services to assist our clients in all phases of telecommunications technology from concept to implementation to support.
HTA Team The strength of HTA is in our people. HTA Associates represent a wide range of experience in building telecommunications solutions. Our technical orientation combined with our business focus ensures not only that the appropriate technology is selected but also the solution is custom designed, implemented according to the needs of our clients and has the support required to continue to add value to the organization. HTA Associates average 12 years telecommunications experience and our corporate philosophy, "None of us is as smart as all of us" enables our clients to receive the benefit of over 250 years of experience. All HTA Associates are challenged to provide exceptional service for our clients, demonstrating what HTA has defined as "The Difference between Exceptional and Acceptable".
HTA Mission The HTA corporate mission is "Understand the business objectives first and treat every project as if we own it". HTA begins and ends with a focus on business, not technology. HTA develops technology solutions that are designed to solve business problems and/or create new business opportunities. Due to HTA's TeleManagement services, we truly look at each engagement as if we will own it, because in many cases we do. This causes HTA to look at issues such as ongoing service, administration and recurring costs more than our competitors.
